Founded in 2013, LOQUI began as a weekly pop-up at Tartine Bakery in San Francisco, CA. LOQUI offered customers one item from a rotating menu that highlighted the tradition and simplicity of street food culture — bringing unique Mexican tastes to life.

In 2016, LOQUI officially established roots in Southern California. The Culver City location marked a new beginning in LA with the goal of serving honest Mexican eats inspired by the delicious food found at our favorite taquerias throughout Mexico. 

LOQUI’s second location opened in DTLA’s Arts District in November 2019 followed by Free Market Playa Vista in May 2021.
